To provide structured multi-skill training to prepare SPM school leavers for jobs in the Precision Engineering Industry.
To meet the increasing demand for competent employees in the Precision Engineering industry.
To provide the apprentice/trainee with a recognized qualification, which can be used for further retraining, skills upgrading anf career progression with the Precision Engineering industry.

Pass in English, maths and Science/Physics/technical Subjects.
 
 
Course Structure
 
 
The complete programme of the Apprenticeship – Tool & Die maker (Mould) will cover a period of 14 months consisting of :
 
 
1)Off –the- Job training
 
 
The trainee will attend training for a total period of 30 weeks (7 ½ months). This period consists of 2 separate units of training in two levels.
Level One focuses on basic Hand Tools Practise, Workshop measuring instruments, technical drawings, machining and machining processes.
Level Two focuses on CNC Machining and introduction to Basic Mould Making.
 
     
 
2)On- The- Job- Training
 
 
The Apprentice will undergo on –the –job training at the sponsoring company’s promises for a total of 26 weeks (6 ½ months) after completing each level in off – the – job training.
